Josephine Ehlert
Screenwriter & DirectorJosephine is a writing actress, and director. She loves to throw her everyday heroes and heroines into the absurdities of human interaction and the raging river of desires— while she’s not always providing them a lifesaving vest, but sometimes prefers to let them drown.
Her favorite genres include tragicomedy, romantic comedy, family, and mystery.
As a dialogue specialist, Josephine loves to let her characters speak, remain silent, and above all, act. The tone is always warm, funny, and authentic.
Raised in East Berlin, Josephine now lives with her family in Hamburg St. Pauli.
