Orlando comes from a theater family and has driven his parents crazy with his questions since early childhood, because he wanted to understand things not with his head, but with his gut. That he wants to tell stories today, says his mother, is almost inevitable, he is a sponge, everything he has absorbed has to come out again sometime. Alexander doesn’t come from a theater family, but he still had a lot of questions. Because he didn’t know where to put all his ideas, he first became a banker before he realized that wasn’t enough. As actors, Alexander and Orlando then met on stage and quickly realized during rehearsals that they shared the same sense of humor and interest in characters. Immediately, they wrote their first scripts together and soon after realized their first short films.

Alexander then attended a school of journalism to find a further approach to his questions and the stories that drive him.

Actually, they prefer to tell each other undisturbed all day long nonsense, anecdotes and stories, until they realize that by chance some of it has potential. Then they move things back and forth, invent things, shout out settings and replay them, creating a maelstrom that they can’t get out of until the construct is complete. And actually they could start shooting the next day. Unfortunately, they have already found out that film rarely works like that.
