Liza Reichardt
ScreenwriterLiza wanted to be a mounted policewoman, a flower seller, a doctor and a psychologist. She read Bukowski and E.A. Poe far too early and sat eating spaghetti next to her father on the couch while the old Edgar Wallace series were broadcast on television.
Liza is a dog strolling through the fields, a hedgehog that curls up, is her father, who devoured Homer, is her Masurian grandmother, who took a break from her extended family with her typewriter, is a tree whose big crown is sometimes dangerously wafted by the wind, sometimes making music with it.
She was born in Frankfurt (Oder) in 1986 and studied acting, literature and history in Hamburg and Düsseldorf. In her Master’s Screenplay and Dramaturgy program at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, she and her partner Barbara Flügel specialize in the development of film and series formats with a special focus on historical, psychological and magically realistic narration. During her studies she worked as a mentor for the medical faculty of the Heinrich-Heine-University as well as in an anti-aggression program for various prisons in the Rhineland. Together with Arndt Schwering-Sohnrey, she founded the Institute for Adventure – an association of filmmakers and authors.
